I hope to contribute to sound environmental policy to create structural change in the way our nation produces and uses energy. I am motivated by the severity of our environmental crisis, but also by my love of the outdoors and all the critters (including us) it\'s home to.

1. Consultant, Manager - Der Analytics

   Sustainable Energy Advantage, Llc

   Apr 2024 — Present

   Monitor current and expected future renewable energy regulatory, legislative and policy developments in New England at a detailed level with a focus on distributed generation (DG) markets.• Summarize developments in weekly articles for clientele and communicate material developments to company staff.• Lead modeling of New England DG market supply, including detailed supply/demand modeling of Massachusetts SREC markets.• Manages SEA’s support of Rhode Island’s Renewable Energy Growth program to inform recommended program ceiling prices, including stakeholder engagement, analysis and revision of financial model inputs/structure, and development and defense of testimony supporting recommended ceiling prices.• Primary contributor to benefit-cost analysis practice area, including construction of modeling structure and methods.• Primary contributor to retail rate forecasting across a variety of states.• Primary contributor to spatial analyses, including leading multiple regional technical potential of solar analyses. • Manages the periodic updating and QC of SEA’s database of renewable generators.• Flexible support of other projects though the modes listed above, depending on present contracts.
