ABOUT TOBIAS HOARE
I am an ambitious and determined engineer with a good understanding of renewable energy and energy storage technologies. I have a wide range of technical skills coupled with a strong project management ability and commercial awareness. I studied mechanical engineering to master’s level where I developed a strong affinity for computer aided analysis including computational fluid dynamics and developing mathematical models for a range of topics in the wind industry.I currently develop optimised cable systems by holistically considering the cost, electrical loss and availability along with managing interfaces both internal and external to the organisation. I have also managed a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels of management in my role as a Board member of the Vattenfall Green Team sustainability initiative.
