ABOUT TOBIAS FIFIELD
Having three jobs at age seven, I eventually took myself to college, and have helped companies grow by designing sustainable prototyping labs in the Arts & Design.Originally from San Francisco, California with twenty years experience in the field of design; being responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing, branding and marketing the designs of art and design exhibits, designing presentations and design campaigns internationally in art galleries, museums and design institutions with International work experience in India, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Japan.Actively managed and directed projects for design firms creating design briefs by integrating design methodology processes that included core fundamentals in the Arts & Design to designing branding communication products. Designed Keynotes and facilitating workshops by defining a company’s value clarification, beginning with outlining a design brief, on a Company’s brand personality, designing visual communication materials to defining a Company’s vision coordinating building of physical contract work spaces and design studios, inventory control, material selection, outsourcing, cataloging, workspace furnishings.Held Teaching Fellowships throughout Asia for over twenty years appling basic theoretical principles designing subject-area-centered design curriculum\'s introducing foundation of art and design. Development of interest-centered instructional lesson planning, development, implementation and design of effective design workshops by providing educational management tools teaching fundamental course subjects in Product Design; Industrial Design. Guided students on projects through consultation, maintaining academic progress and assisting with school promotional activities with marketing by designing exhibits for open houses, trade shows, education fairs, student shows and on-campus displays and fabrication of design student exhibitions and displays and coordinating with all academic faculty departments by maintaining displays and exhibitions assisting each collection of works of art/design for on-campus and off-campus exhibitions. Designed and coordinated the fabrication of a full-working model-making student shop: including selections of all hand-tools, machinery, and final layout of material choices. Organized and managed supervision of all displays from academic faculty departments of student artwork and design displays. Work closely with all academic faculty departments by coordinating the maintenance, painting, and set-up of displays.
