ABOUT TOBIAS EGGENDORFER
Tobias Eggendorfer is currently professor for cyber security in distributed applications, freelance IT-security and -forensics consultant and privacy officer. Prior to becoming professor at THI, he joined the CyberAgentur as head of the secure systems department. To do so, he took a leave as professor for IT security in Weingarten. He still is a visiting lecturer at several universities around the world. Before that, he was a professor for IT forensics in Hamburg.He received his PhD from FernUniversität in Hagen, his dissertation was on spam prevention and spam fighting. He published some books, lots of papers and articles on it security, it law, anti spam and forensics.Specialties: Network and software security, it forensics, Privacy, Anti spam, broad IT skills ranging from hardware via software development to network technology, mechanical engineering, law studies (German civil, business and labour law), paramedic, teaching.
