   Slalom

   Nov 2014 — Present

   Served on a XFN team responsible for solving critical, enterprise-wide data storage issues for a well-known, USA-based, global software company- Led implementation of a customer-facing virtual assistant POC powered by Gen AI (RAG architecture enhanced by Prompt Engineering all backed by the Anthropic Claude LLM) on AWS for a large, Seattle-based, retailer. Collaborated with full-stack engineers to align the solution with Gen AI best practices while meeting the project requirements- Co-designed a novel data platform which leveraged maintenance data for a major airplane manufacturer to enhance reporting and enable deeper impacts through advanced analytics. Evangelized the vision and drove consensus- Co-developed and led a four-day Data Science on Databricks workshop which empowered a small client team to draw insights and analytics from proprietary data- Lead Data Scientist on developing a POC for building NLP Named Entity Recognition (NER) models in Databricks using Spark NLP open-source and healthcare libraries from John Snow Labs for a Seattle-based biotech company- Built data engineering modules to load data from various sources into structured databases using dbt, AirFlow Astronomer, Snowflake and Google Big Query for a Seattle-based data visualization company- Provided Marketing Analytics for a local 501(c)(3) organization. Leveraged machine learning to add lead scoring to the CRM, and identify the behaviors demonstrating the strongest relationship with conversions (logistic regression, Shapley)- Lead SQL developer on the Reporting and Analytics Team for a freshly launched, high-tech, product for a multinational telecom company. Used a machine learning model (logistic regression) to create a lead score for the prospect database. Designed, developed and maintained executive level Tableau dashboards including the daily KPI report which was the source of truth for product health and status.
