Provide subject matter expertise to The SEC National Examination Program (NEP). This involves examination and quantitative analyses of transactions based on data provided by registrants, Bloomberg, Morningstar, EDGAR etc. Securities analyzed include equities, mutual funds, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, and derivatives.Also responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the tool utilized for registrants’ blotters analyses. The first iteration of the tool was Excel/VBA/SQLite based while the latest version is Python/Javascript/Kdb based. Help built a team of subject matter experts to further assist the NEP.Main Tasks- Trade allocation and performance analyses- Presentation of examinations’ findings to SEC management- Regular staff training- SEC registrants’ interviewsQuantitative Model Developed:o SEC due diligence national examination tool for transactions analyses and reporting.
