CommonLit is an edtech nonprofit serving over 20 million registered teachers and students in grades 3-12 with an evidence-based digital literacy program. Our mission is to make sure that every student graduates high school with the reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills they need to be successful in college and beyond. Our digital library and 360 curriculum are currently used in over 80% of US public schools! In my role at CommonLit, I get to spread the word about our high-quality digital literacy program to schools and districts across the country and develop literacy resources to support students and teachers. Prior to joining the CommonLit team, I was a teacher and school administrator for 10 years in a both public-charter and traditional public schools. During that time, my students demonstrated significant and measurable reading progress and I was able to lead and support teachers to achieve high growth in reading for students.
