The Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) is the world\'s largest entrepreneurial workforce development programme. It is for NHS staff, and is managed by NHS England’s Innovation, Research, Life Sciences and Strategy group and Anglia Ruskin University.CEP equips over 1,200 clinical and non-clinical staff with the commercial skills to develop and spread innovative solutions within the NHS. Entrepreneurs on the programme have launched around 500 start-ups, making up over 7% of the UK life science sector. Their innovations have reached over 130 million patients and professionals, raising over $1 billion in funding.
