ABOUT TOBECHI OLERU
Toby Oleru, PT, DPT is a McKinney-native, residency trained, board-certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist. He is also the Center Manager of BSWIR Garland-Shiloh. Toby attended Texas Tech University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences and a minor in Spanish. He attended physical therapy school at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX and then went on to complete an orthopedic physical therapy residency at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation. As a skilled leader and orthopedic physical therapist, Toby is well versed in the operative and non-operative rehab of all orthopedic injuries. He has amassed a wide range of clinical training and certifications from his clinical rotations, manual courses and residency studies. He is also dry needling certified. Beyond this, Toby has a passion for organizational leadership, healthcare administration and operational efficiency. He is knowledgeable about JCAHO policies, EMR utilization and major KPIs (key performance indicators) related to clinic/organizational success. He is a charismatic and engaging leader who has strong communication, public speaking and networking ability.
