ABOUT NAGABHUSHANA T N

Prof T N Nagabhushana graduated from University of Mysore in the field of Electrical Engineering by securing 10th Rank and subsequently earned his ME and PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore specializing in the area of Neural Computing. He has served Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore in various capacities starting from Lecturer, Assistant professor, Professor of Information Science and Engineering and Principal before retiring in August 2021. He has a vast experience of over 40 years covering teaching, Research and Administration. Before Joining Kishkinda University as founder Vice Chancellor, Prof Nagabhushana served as Executive Director at East West Group of Institutions in Bangalore. Prof Nagabhushana has delivered more than 300 lectures spanning invited talks, Colloquiums, and plenary talks both in India and abroad. He was a visiting Professor at the department of Electronics and computer Engineering at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea and also Visiting Foreign Scholar at Hannan University, Osaka, Japan. He was invited to talk at University of OLO, Finland, Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University, Russia, Nanyang Technology University, Singapore, University of Alto, Finland, Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA, University of Durban, South Africa. Dr Nagabhushana has significant contributions in the field of Autoconfiguring Neural Networks and their applications that resulted in 9 Doctoral Thesis. He has supervised more than 25 Masters Dissertations and taught advanced courses such as Computational Intelligence, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Intelligent Systems etc. He has 72 publications and over 480 Citations with an H index of 10. He worked closely with NOKIA in Finland and got research and education grants of Euros between 20••••14. Dr Nagabhushana was responsible for getting TEQIP phase grant of Rs 7.7 Crores and implemented various faculty and student empowerment initiatives besides creation Param Super Computing center while serving at SJCE as principal. Under the GIAN Scheme of Govt of India, SJCE was granted the highest number of grants in the state for inviting eminent Professors from reputed foreign universities to teach and grade our students. During his tenure as Principal of JSSATE Noida during 20••••15 the College got NBA accreditation and the institution was awarded as top ranking college in UP by C reporter Survey. He envisions Kishkinda University to be a world class teaching and research multi disciplinary university.
