ABOUT TOBI MAJEKODUNMI
Tobi is a PhD student in MIT\'s Department of Mechanical Engineering with a mission to ensure a sustainable world for our future generations. At MIT, he is working with Professor Asegun Henry on the Thermal Energy Grid Storage project. Tobi desires to address the clean energy transition’s technical and social challenges. Outside of the lab, he has done science policy advocacy at The United States Congress and worked with MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning to establish Green (i.e, weatherized and retrofitted), permanent affordable-housing in the Greater Boston area. Tobi is interested in work at the intersection of academia, policy, and government that impacts global climate policy, and environmental justice efforts at the intersection of marginalized communities\' needs, climate change, and the clean energy transition.
