As a Guest Faculty at the Department of Management Studies, CEG, Anna University, Chennai, I teach MBA students specializing in Adventure and Sports Tourism. My role involves providing in-depth knowledge on various adventure activities and destinations, while focusing on key aspects such as risk profiling, mitigation, quality and safety, customer experience, and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development: Design and update course materials that cover adventure tourism management principles, legal and ethical frameworks, and the economic, social, and environmental impacts of the industry.Instruction: Deliver lectures and conduct workshops on risk management, quality assurance, customer service, and best practices in adventure and sports tourism.Practical Application: Facilitate assignments and field visits to allow students to apply theoretical concepts in practical settings and gain hands-on experience.Guidance: Provide individualized support and mentorship to help students integrate their learning and develop their professional skills.Impact Analysis: Teach students to assess the broader impacts of adventure tourism, promoting sustainable and responsible practices.My goal is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of adventure and sports tourism, preparing them to excel in and contribute to the industry.
