Gained hands-on scripting experience for use in the functional integration testbed of the a350 landing gear and fuel avionics systems in relation to software validation and verification. Stimulated pre-existing debugging and coding knowledge using Notepad ++ and MATLAB to carry out functional test procedures (test and maintenance campaigns) on the numerical model test bench. Expanded my technical knowledge of the Airbus a350 landing gear and fuel system components. Carried out test-bench software commissioning tests to ascertain update validity with reference to previous software versions. This was accompanied by non-regression testing. Currently conducting a 40 hour Udemy course on C++ as part of my CPD. Conducted defect clean-up testing, simulating operating conditions for previously identified defects and bugs to verify software, code and hardware fixes had been successful in resolving know issues. Consulted with engineering and wiring drawings to locate and isolate faults within the test bench for identification through introducing faults to induce failure messages and system faults. Performed test data analysis, followed by test report compilation in preparation for certification.
