ABOUT T. LOGAN KEOWN

As a production management specialist at the Navy Office of Information (CHINFO), I oversee media and public-facing products that inform and engage the Navy\'s internal and external audiences. I work with a team of talented media professionals to ensure that the content, design, and delivery of our products meet the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and creativity. I also manage the production team\'s schedule and workflow, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align our objectives and expectations. I have a strong background in media communications, with over seven years of experience as a Mass Communication Specialist in the US Navy. In this role, I have worked in various capacities, such as a production manager, a department leader, a social media manager, and a strategic communicater. I have produced and delivered multiple high-visibility media products, such as news stories, feature articles, social media posts, award-winning imagery, videos, and manuals, for diverse audiences and platforms. I have also led and trained teams of media personnel and developed and implemented communication plans and strategies for various missions and events. In 2021, I graduated from the Advanced Military Visual Journalism Program S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where I honed my skills in photography, videography, online journalism, design, and advanced visual storytelling. I am passionate about using media to inform, educate, and inspire people, and to showcase the achievements and stories of those who make the Navy what it is, our people. I am always eager to learn new skills, tools, and techniques to enhance my media production and communication abilities.
