ABOUT TRISTA LENFORD-NORRIS
My name is Trista Lenford-Norris, I am a fourth year pre-medical undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley studying Integrative Human Biology with a minor in Global Public Health. I am passionate about the intersectionality of global health inequities and barriers of healthcare accessibility in underrepresented communities. I am excited to further my pursuit of these interests along with other focus areas such as OB/GYN, dermatology, and immunology throughout my undergraduate career and on into medical school. My current experiences relating to multicultural activism, reproductive health rights and health resource accessibility surround a central pursuit for the advocacy of underserved and marginalized communities through social, political and health lenses. With this, I am looking for internships, research and shadowing opportunities that allow me to further pursue such passions and expand my knowledge and reach outwards.
