ABOUT TOM LARCOMBE CMGR

As a Project Manager at Mars Wrigley, I am in charge of coordinating and leading a portfolio of several multimillion pound projects in the fast-paced FMCG company. I lead cross-functional teams to complete projects that align with business goals while meeting schedules, budgets, and quality requirements. My responsibilities include strategic planning, stakeholder interaction, risk management, and resource management in order to achieve efficiency and innovation. I encourage collaboration, promote an inclusive and accountable culture, and use data-driven insights to influence choices. In addition, I ensure alignment with sustainability goals by incorporating social and environmental concerns into projects, resulting in beneficial results for the company and its stakeholders.Former Senior Project Engineer at Babcock International, part of the Learning From Experience team, managing a team of 8 project project engineers, whilst working on complex defence projects involving the collection, analysis, collation, distribution and implementation of lessons learnt and recommendations for future projects. Former Senior Project Engineer for one of Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations hardest projects; The implementation of the Premium Palette luxury painting process onto current and future sports car and SUV programmes.The role comprises of the management of multiple commodities through the sourcing, management of the supplier, development/adaption of the parts for the Premium Palette process, testing of the parts to a level 3 mechanical test, including appearance approval, current quality/process issues, and all commodity level engineering planning documentation. i.e Masking Lines, CAD disassembly, test plans, costings including D&D, process documentation and test plans.Former Technical Analysis at Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, responsible for multiple commodities in a project engineering role. The role comprises of taking a product from raw input CAD data to commodity release, in a project management role, dealing with deadlines, liaising with suppliers to verify prototype tooling through to final product release.
