About Thomas Lacey
I’m a recent graduate of the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I earned my degree in Management with a collateral in Sales. Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience across a variety of roles, including customer service, sales support, campus technology services, and a sales internship. Each experience helped me grow in different ways, from strengthening communication with customers to supporting behind the scenes operations and taking on new responsibilities with confidence.Through these roles, I have found that I am most fulfilled by work that is centered on people. I enjoy supporting teams, working through problems, and contributing to settings where individuals can perform at their best, particularly when leadership is grounded in service and accountability. I have been admitted to the M.S. in Management and Human Resources program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and will begin the program in August 2026. I am looking forward to continuing to build on these experiences and developing a stronger foundation in leadership and people focused management.Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and chess, both of which keep me engaged and constantly learning. I like activities that reward patience, strategy, and long term thinking, and I tend to gravitate toward environments where there is room to improve through observation and practice. These interests reflect a broader curiosity about how people approach challenges and influence how I think through problems.
