1. HR Service Center Manager

   I joined Alfa Laval to build the US HR Service Center from the ground up (launched 3/1/23), overseeing HR Customer Support, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, the visa process, and serve as the Global Business Owner for ServiceNow for HR. After learning about the current state, I\'ve streamlined processes, created process documents and flow charts, and updating/creating automations to significantly reduce manual and redundant work. A few of the areas I\'ve focused on are:\\\\n\\\\n*Onboarding -> created manager checklists and sending timely and informative emails to new hires; updated the drug screen process to reduce delays; set up candidate tracking through pre-hire/onboarding process to ensure compliance on all items; updated what information we receive, and how we receive it, with new hire paperwork\\\\n*Offboarding -> created process and tracking mechanism to inform departing employee of relevant information and ensure all outstanding items are closed out before the end date, plus other items\\\\n*Tuition reimbursement -> overhauled existing tuition reimbursement process by updating policy and form with solid feedback from the HR team, making the process easier for the employee and more efficient for the HRSC\\\\n*HR SharePoint page -> created new content, quick reference guides, and updated existing HR, Payroll, and Benefits content for a new page to assist US-based employees with self-service options\\\\n*ServiceNow -> setting up a ticketing system for all HR inquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses to the employee base, reducing confusion for employees who are unsure where to go; building out metrics for the team to ensure success is achieved\\\\n*Leave of Absence process -> streamlining the process and ensuring all parties are included every step of the way by providing the information via email and acknowledging each party\'s responsibilities by utilizing DocuSign\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
