About Taeho Kgil

Taeho is a highly experienced security and privacy executive with an extensive background in endpoint security, data privacy, cloud security, identity access management, and payment systems. Most recently, Taeho led the Privacy Technology Lab at Samsung Research, a group of passionate researchers and developers committed to enhancing Samsung’s security and privacy technologies. Under his leadership, the team made notable progress in improving the security and privacy features of Samsung’s products and services, including Private Share, Knox Advanced Access Control, and Intelligent Wi-Fi. Before joining Samsung, Taeho served as Head of Cloud Security Engineering at MagicCube, where he implemented software-driven security measures for Zero Trust technology. Prior to Magiccube, Taeho made several key contributions to security initiatives at both Visa and Intel, resulting in the deployment of Open VisaNet (clean slate payment network), Visa Token Service, and several Intel Platform security enhancements.
