I have over a decade of experience which includes working within ecosystems of:*#1 largest bank in Canada, multimillion dollar fintech projects * Fjord/Accenture, an enterprise level digital service design agency * GreenOwl Mobile, mid-sized award winning tech consultant * Wattpad, global empire start up * University of Waterloo, freelance client * Jumbleberry, Carousel, Pipeline, high growth marketing companies * and more working in capacities like:* brand strategy, identity design and client consultation * ownership throughout AGILE end-to-end product journeys * low fidelity wireframes, prototyping, high fidelity design * market, competitor, user and usability research * project management with designers, developers and stakeholders * copywriting, social media and marketing campaigns * publication, print, and merchandising design Through these experiences, I have honed my passion for high level thinking, collaboration, and deep and thorough understanding of communities, audience, customer, and user psychology from a myriad of perspectives, angles and stories. I believe everything and everybody has a story to tell. To understand these unlocks limitless potential, whether diving into pain points in a customer journey, accommodating working styles of teammates, executing market and user research, or discovering brand identity and design direction. More importantly, I believe in building community, and putting people first. I\'m also a poet, novelist, publisher, event coordinator, keynote speaker, presenting at venues such as RyersonU, UofWaterloo, TDSB, Fan Expo, Word on the Street, and leading initiatives like Inspiritus Press, PEN Canada Bring the Noise, and Crossroads Literary Festival. In 2008, I pioneered the English cell phone novel and in 2014, critically acclaimed literary novel, Espresso Love, reached 1 million reads. Secondhand Memories, Of Forests & Clocks & Dreams, Apparatus, Kawatare, are some of my published books and poems have appeared in PRISM International and others.
