About T. K. Stoudt

TK\'s future goals include serving as a graduate & undergraduate faculty member dedicated to supporting student veterans and expanding his impact through consulting work. In the education space, he\'s particularly focused on advocating for Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) grounded in category credit and/or course match—ensuring that adult learners and veterans earn colleges academic credit for college-level knowledge, skills, or competencies gained outside the traditional classroom. TK is also deeply interested in organizational development, specifically helping institutions and nonprofits engage in Scenario Planning to develop resilient, future-focused strategies. By bridging his background in education, military leadership, and research, TK hopes to support transformational change across systems that matter.TK joyfully resides in Laramie, Wyoming, with his wife, Carrie.

1. Higher Education Consultant and Adjunct Faculty

   The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) is a national nonprofit that works at all levels within higher education, public and private sectors to make it easier for people to get the education and training they need. Serving as a higher education consultant for CAEL allows me to assist both the Adult Learner and Veteran communities. My goal is to help close the higher education attainment gap by gaining access for adult learners to higher education in order to serve the highly-skilled global economy. A key component of closing the attainment gap is CAEL100, Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Portfolio building class, which I teach.
