   Uber

   Led a team of 10+ engineers to deliver an order recovery feature to simplify an eater’s experience when their order is unfulfilled or canceled, resulting in over 300K orders saved per year, with a $5M incremental gross bookings (GB). In addition, the feature has a usage run rate of over $10M GB each year.• Built a cross-organization alerting platform and framework that involved data ingestion pipelines, real-time data processing, and monitoring systems, which has detected over 300+ outages related to UberEat’s 3rd party integrations, saving over $50M gross bookings (GB) per year. • Developed a real-time dashboard visualization and framework used by 60+ unique users, saving 27+ business days per month. The framework was further extended and used by 3+ other cross-functional teams. • Led and implemented an initiative across the UberEats Delivery organization to make every service zone agnostic or portable, capable of serving traffic in any zone in a given region. This effort spanned across 190+ services and 28 teams, and provided higher reliability and increased fault-tolerance to all services, allowing for zonal failover.• Drove operational excellence programs within the organization, interfacing with multiple teams to improve endpoint latency and availability, observability, endpoint graceful degradation, and conduct incident reviews.
