After 8 gratifying years at Twitter, I’m looking to manage a team of skilled, growing product managers focused on a compelling customer problem. I’m particularly adept and passionate about mentoring IC PMs to develop product instinct, become excellent writers, and lean into their strengths as people and PMs. I care deeply about the full customer experience, and have focused on consumers, brands/businesses, and developers.Things colleagues have told me are my superpowers- Listening and making sure stakeholders feel heard and understood, even if I make a different decision than they’d like- Mentoring and coaching PMs to grow - all promotions I\'ve pursued for my team have been approved, one to Sr. PM after only a year from their prior promotion- Giving clear, actionable feedback - I\'m practicing doing so proactively more often- Dealing with product emergencies (bugs, sevs, etc.)- I find the right engineer and customer support partners and triage, manage comms, and work through solution that’s best for the customer immediately and in any aftermath- Coaching writing skills & editing important writing - I make sure my PMs can communicate their ideas clearly, concisely and convincingly. I will edit any customer-facing material (blog posts, support documentation, UI and marketing copy) to make sure it\'s clear, appropriate, and fits the brand voice.
