Hi. My name is Tom. I have nearly 20 years of professional IT experience built upon a lifetime of geekiness. I have a persistent focus on progress and forward motion but never at the cost of thoroughness. I highly value true efficiency (not just cutting corners). I value the DevOps methodology and I have helped multiple companies transition from traditional datacenter operations to virtualized hybrid-cloud ops. I am a fast learner and so naturally a jack of all trades - I learn what needs to be learned to achieve the goals ahead. This does not deter me from becoming highly proficient in the technologies I use on a regular basis, however. I consider myself a jack of all trades, master of \"some.\" I have also provided contracted consulting both on behalf of businesses and also as my own employer. I have worked for public and private entities, large and small.I\'m a proud graduate of The Florida State University (Go Noles!) and current resident of Tallahassee, FL. I\'m an avid music, movie, sports, and fitness enthusiast (I really do enjoy \"all the things\"). I\'m not currently seeking new employment but I\'m always up for conversation about any of the above.
