Responsible for building, securing, hardening, patching, and maintaining Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and 2016 and network devices to comply with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). • Assist Information System Security Manger (ISSM)/Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with coordination between sponsors, project leaders, and accreditation officials to obtain formal accreditation to operate classified information systems. • Work environment in a classified area with regular government compliance audits. • Work in classified environments where there are government compliance audits. • Responsible for the support and maintenance of Directory Services environment - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Object • Responsible for applying System Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) using SCAP, Evaluate STIG to systems, apply compliance and hardening updates and represent the company during audit activities to help maintain accreditation and authorization to operate. • Provide technical hardware and software support for Microsoft Windows servers, workstations, and other related devices in the closed room by performing operating system and application installs, configurations, applying patches and security updates, and managing and monitoring backup environment. • Provide ACAS scans, NESSUS scan, and security center support for closed room • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation tools, Tenable Nessus. • Understand the C&A lifecycle (authorize, monitor, categorize, select, implement, and assess security controls) • Perform weekly Top 30 Vulnerability and Risk score reports on closed room and SIPRNET. • Responsible for tracking all risks within the closed networks to include POA & Ms, and exceptions. • Create POA & M for vulnerabilities. • Patching and STIG’ using DISA Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVAM)
