Lead a multi-cultural team of Solution Engineers (SE’s) located in the US and abroad • Partner with sales in Business Development for new and existing logos • Assist sales teams with identifying and qualifying opportunities • Coordinate Sales Engineering (SE) development through cross-training, hiring, retention, and skills development programs. • Collaborate with product managers or vendors as necessary to support product improvements (ie compatibility), innovations, and emerging technologies. • Assist Resource Coordinators with managing the SE workload with a focus on accuracy and timeliness of responding to customer and internal requests. • Partner with sales management to help increase sales forecast accuracy, prioritize engagements based on needs of the customer and the business unit. Ensure effective SE involvement within each sales team. • Coordinate with senior management on continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools required to support the needs of the organization opportunity development.
