Hello! I am a student at UC Berkeley who is double majoring in Psychology and Theater & Performance Studies and double minoring in LGBTQ+ Studies and Global Poverty. I am driven by a commitment to social justice, advocacy, and fostering inclusive environments. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for learning, I bring a unique blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and empathy to every project and team I collaborate with. While my professional experience is currently developing, I am actively involved in several on campus and off campus opportunities such as volunteering at the Oakland LGBT Center where I specialize in creating a safe and open space for LGBT youth in the Bay Area by providing free mental health services primarily to homeless youth. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the field of Psychology and various social justice efforts. Let\'s connect and explore how we can work together to achieve meaningful outcomes!Currently, I am looking to build my resume and achieve a research opportunity or internship in the field of Psychology. I am hoping someone recognizes my creativity and passion for helping others in any way I can. My personal journey has been shaped by those who saw potential in me when I was a formerly homeless LGBTQ+ youth and believed I had the vision to do something meaningful. I hope to prove them right and jump into opportunities that will lead me down the path to achieving those dreams.Outside of work, I am dedicated to helping my community in anyway I can. Currently I primarily volunteer at various LGBT centers in the Bay Area. Additionally I enjoy recreational sports such as Soccer and Rugby and was formerly a youth soccer coach on the weekends. I believe in giving back to my community in anyway I can but I feel that if given a bigger opportunity to do some good I can truly make a difference in the ways I’ve been wanting to. Let\'s connect!
