I have been an active poet for many years. In 2010, my poetry has been captured in the libretto of the opera \"The Canticle of the Black Madonna,\" an opera-oratorio in two acts. For this project, I wrote an original story, a fictional account set in the real-life backdrop the war in Afghanistan and the Gulf Oil Spill of 2010.
