As a Career Coach Intern with the Center for Career Engagement, I have the privilege of supporting students during some of the most formative stages of their professional journeys. My work is deeply connected to my love for education and my commitment to helping others grow with clarity and confidence. There is something incredibly fulfilling about guiding students as they translate their experiences into strong resumes, build intentional LinkedIn profiles, and begin to see their own potential more clearly.In this role, I conduct one-on-one resume and LinkedIn reviews, facilitate follow-up outreach after classroom workshops, and help students develop job search and professional branding strategies. This position has also pushed me to grow. I have strengthened competencies aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) career readiness framework, particularly in communication, leadership, professionalism, equity & inclusion, and career & self-development. Through setting and executing structured SMART goals such as implementing targeted post-workshop outreach and tracking measurable engagement outcomes. I have learned to think strategically, manage initiatives independently, and translate ideas into tangible impact.
