I drive cross-functional initiatives between departments, enhance organizational efficiency, and provide high-level support in executive decision-making, communications, and strategic planning. I have a particular focus on process improvements, risk management, resource optimization, and bridging generational workforce gaps with a direct end goal of increasing company-wide revenue and profitability.Prior to becoming CoS, I was an AVP where I helped drive the firm\'s growth through leadership in international business development, financial oversight of technology investments, the hiring of senior personnel, and represented the firm on the boards/committees of several civic and AEC industry organizations including the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC-NY), the Connecticut Business Industry Association (CBIA), and Queens Community House (QCH).I also serve as a newly inducted member of the Board of Advisors of the CBIA Foundation, an influential economic growth think-tank non-profit arm of the CBIA. The organization is focused on promoting policies to boost Connecticut’s competitiveness to attract business investment and people to the state. I serve on its affordable housing & workforce committees where I provide a business perspective on economic development, zoning, land use, & workforce mobility.*Personal Background*I\'m a born and raised first generation American. AI Engineers was originally founded as a 2-person rinky-dink $10K startup by my working middle class South Asian immigrant parents in 1991. I have a Bachelors in Public Policy from Trinity College in Hartford (CT), a Masters in Finance from the University of London (SOAS), and a Masters in Construction Administration from Columbia University.
