At StackAdapt I lead our largest engineering team as well as quality assurance and technical solutions. Previously I also led the product and design teams. My teams are focused on building the client-facing web platform on which advertisers build their programmatic ad campaigns. This includes everything from planning, forecasting, campaign setup, bidding strategy, bid factors, audiences, pixels, reporting, API, integrations and more. We also manage infrastructure related to the platform as well as test automation. The past few years have been an exciting time at StackAdapt with tremendous growth and change as our company has more than doubled in size to over 1200 people. It has been a lot of fun scaling up this team and working with amazing leaders and contributors! Our tech stack has been React, Typescript/Javascript, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, AWS, Go and much more. ABOUT TISHAN MILLS
Tishan is currently SVP Platform at StackAdapt leading full-stack engineering at a rapidly scaling company. Previously he was Head of Toronto Engineering and Toronto Site Lead at Splunk where he built and scaled a new engineering office while also managing remote teams.Tishan was also a Founder and Co-CEO at QuickTapSurvey prior to its acquisition in 2018. At QuickTapSurvey, Tishan built a profitable, bootstrapped B2B Saas company and grew it to customers and a 40 person team in downtown Toronto. He was also the platform architect and led the engineering, product and design teams.In his prior roles, Tishan has over 15 years of experience as a Software Architect, Technology Consultant and Software Engineer. He is the holder of multiple U.S. patents and holds two degrees from the University of Waterloo including a Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science.
