About Tishan Roye
I am a second -year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Policy and Management at the University at Albany. With a strong academic foundation and practical experience in public health research, policy analysis, and healthcare systems, I am passionate about using evidence-based strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities.Throughout my academic career, I have gained experience working on various public health projects, including program evaluations, data analysis, and maternal health research. I have worked as a research intern with organizations such as the New York State Department of Health and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where I contributed to important projects focused on maternal mortality, environmental epidemiology, and healthcare delivery. Additionally, I have honed my leadership, communication, and project management skills in roles such as Director of Sustainability and Assistant Resident Director at the University at Albany.I am particularly interested in health consulting, where I can leverage my skills in policy analysis, program evaluation, and strategic planning to help organizations address complex health challenges. I am eager to apply my knowledge and experience to drive impactful solutions in healthcare and public health policy.
