WORK HISTORY
Electrical Team Lead @York University Robotics Society
Toronto, ON, CA
As the Electrical Lead at the York University Robotics Society, I lead the design and integration of electrical and embedded systems for a Mars Rover competing in the Canadian International Rover Challenge (CIRC). I lead the design of the rover’s electrical system, including power distribution, motor controllers, sensors, custom PCBs, and safety-critical subsystems, while developing firmware in C for STM32 microcontrollers and implementing communication over CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C. I also write the team’s electrical safety report, oversee system validation and debugging, collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical and software teams, and mentor new members who join the team through hands-on workshops.
