Currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at ErgBio. Prior to this, he worked as Postdoctoral Researcher and Instructor at the Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation (CABBI), Bioenergy Research Center, US, DOE laboratory for the development of novel processes for fuels and chemicals production from new feedstocks. I have successfully translated fundamental research into scalable, commercially relevant solutions. During 13 years of my professional experience, I have been involved in all the major disciplines, i.e, organic synthesis, ionic liquid, DES synthesis, cellulose chemistry, bioprocess developments for renewable fuels, chemicals, and materials production using green chemistry principles, scale-up and commercialization of 2G (Waste Biomass to ethanol) etc. Scientifically trained in industrial and academic R&D in organic synthesis, process/ product development, technology transfer, analytical R&D development, polymer processing and pilot-scale process optimization for renewable fuels, chemicals and materials production from DOE laboratories, USA, South Korea and 500 Fortune Oil Industry (India). Strong background in analytical chemistry, molecule characterization, and data collection. and interpretation Profound knowledge of managing diverse R&D projects in biofuels and chemicals production for sustainable bio-economy development (Biomass pretreatment, Hydrolysis and Fermentation), which will surely change the world in near future and give thrust to climate change & sustainability. I am passionate about providing energy security to India, the USA, and the EU and reducing GHG emissions through innovative technologies.
