As a CCM Engineer at R.L. Steel & Energy Ltd, I am currently manage a dual-scope role that integrates metallurgical operations with mechanical maintenance. My primary operational focus involves managing (concast india) Billet and Bloom casters (6/11 mtr and 10.25/19 mtr radii), where I oversee the casting of diverse sections ranging from 110x110, 130x130, 160x160, 200x200, 160x180, 180x220, 240x280 & 280x320 mm. This requires metallurgical control over high-grade materials, including stainless steels (SS 410, 420, 431) and specialty alloy steels like H11 and H13, ensuring defect-free output and precise temperature control. Beyond casting, I am heavily involved in SAP plant operations, where I handle daily production tracking, data entry, and indent creation.On the technical and maintenance front, I execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. My current project experience includes the revamping of withdrawal units for 2 - strands billet casters.

Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) operations mechanical maintenance and casting process control within the steel industry.Currently working as a CCM Engineer at R.L. Steel & Energy Ltd, with prior experience as Mechanical Supervisor of Maintenance at AM/NS India. I have practical exposure to billet and bloom caster operations, preventive & breakdown maintenance, hydraulic systems, oscillation alignment, segment maintenance and condition monitoring of rotating equipment.I have worked on 2-strands billet and bloom casters handling multiple sections and steel grades including alloy steels, stainless steels (SS 410, 420, 431), and special grades such as H11 and H13.I was also involved in billet caster revamping projects including withdrawal unit alignment, oscillation correction, hydraulic system improvements and installation of new mechanical components.Safety is my top priority. I strongly follow OHSAS, ISO 14001, LOTO, Work Permit System, and 5S practices, believing that safety and discipline are the foundation of operational excellence.I am passionate about continuous learning, process improvement, and contributing to reliable, high-quality steel production through teamwork and technical excellence.
