Operating as a Principal Consultant within Contino, I worked within the Azure and GCP Cloud Practices providing consulting and architectural services to clients and internal teams as required. Primarily, during this time I was-• Working as a Lead Engineer for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) on their strategic Azure and GCP centralised Cloud provisioning project, I was responsible for driving their Azure CSP product curation process and team(s). This process created secure and approved Terraform (and other) modules for product deployments into LBGs production environments. These deliverables had to be highly secured and scalable to ensure that they would work in tightly regulated environments• Acting as a consulting architect, I was also key in defining many of LBG’s DevEx, DevOps, Test Management and RLM (Release Management) strategies for this program• I also designed and delivered educational material and upskilling sessions to train teams in the use of Argo, DevEx and DevOps patterns both at LBG and other client teams This role was primarily customer facing and working within the financial sector. It was focused on creating strategic DevEx/DevSecOps initiatives, plus application infrastructure design and implementation. Technologies used were Terraform, C#, Harness, Kubernetes, Argo, Helm, Azure and GCP.
