About Tionna Taite
I am a a licensed attorney in Alabama. My legal experience spans public finance, real estate, nonprofit advising, and sports/entertainment law, with a particular focus on contract negotiation and client counseling.During law school, I served as a Student Attorney in the Entrepreneurship & Nonprofit Clinic, where I provided pro bono legal services, drafted transactional documents, and advised nonprofits and small businesses. I also founded the NIL Pro Bono Initiative, expanding access to legal representation for student-athletes navigating Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities.My leadership has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Nelson Mandela International Negotiations Competition Championship, the Magic City Bar Association Outstanding Legal Scholarship Award, and the 2025 Malone Award for Most Outstanding Recent Graduate.Outside of the law, I founded Nineteen Fifty-Six Magazine, the University’s first Black student-led publication, which raised over in funding, reached more than readers, and was recognized nationally as a Pacemaker Award finalist. These experiences reinforced my mission: to use my skills to amplify voices, create equitable opportunities, and empower communities.
