ABOUT TINU ABRAHAM
I am a Chemical Engineer, passionate about GHG emissions modelling and technologies that cater to goals of decarbonization through sustainable energy development and environmental remediation. My current work involves modelling various commodity supply chain emissions. Prior to this I conducted life cycle assessment of GHG emissions of existing and emerging technologies for oil sands facilities using open source emission modelling tools. My doctoral and postdoctoral research dwelt at the interface of fundamental science driving technology development from lab to field scale, particularly in oil sands development and tailings management. I’ve also completed projects on clean fuels and technologies such as hydrogen dispensing, electrification with fuel cells, photovoltaic desalination and water, energy, climate change nexus.
