I lead programs that empower municipalities to take meaningful climate action—securing funding, building capacity and driving emissions reductions. By bridging local needs with strategic investment, I help communities implement energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate resilience projects that create lasting impact. Since 2018, I have overseen the design and implementation of >$90 million in climate mitigation and adaptation programs. These programs were funded by the Government of Alberta, Natural Resources Canada, Prairies Canada, and Federation of Canadian Municipalities.Alberta Municipalities is the lead delivery agent for the MCCAC initiative.

I help organizations turn sustainability goals into action. My career spans communities, government, and higher education, where I’ve led strategies that accelerate decarbonization, secure investment, and strengthen partnerships.As Executive Director of Sustainability Services at Alberta Municipalities, I oversee the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre and the Clean Energy Improvement Program, Alberta’s property assessed clean energy financing solution. Previously, I served as Chief Sustainability Officer at the University of Alberta, where I led an enterprise-wide solutions that positioned the institution as an award-winning sustainability leader. In my early career, I delivered environmental and forest management programs across Alberta and British Columbia.Recognized nationally with Canada’s Clean50 and Clean16 awards and in the Women in Energy Transformation Series, I also give back through governance and advisory roles. I am currently chair of the Alberta Emerald Foundation, a public member on the board of the Association for the Chemical Profession of Alberta and a member of energy-related advisory committees at Climate Innovation Fund (Alberta Ecotrust), NAIT and NorQuest College.My expertise includes: sustainability strategy, climate change, clean energy, stakeholder engagement, governance, and program evaluation.
