ABOUT TINESHA WHEELER
Currently, I am a Grad student at Brooklyn College studying accounting and a Year Up Alumni. Year Up is a program that helps educate and prepare you to become professionals in Corporate America. I am skilled in networking, public speaking, and how to show professional etiquette in a working environment. In my accounting classes, I learn how to be proficient in Quickbooks and understand different components for preparing taxes. I am a visual learner, very dependable, organize, determined, and have an efficient amount of knowledge about technology. Willing to helping others and being a go-getter is a huge part of who I am as a person because it encourages me to take advantage of the opportunities that are out there in the world. After completing Year up, I want to use these skills that I invested in and develop to inspire the next generation after me, give back to my community and become an accountant in one of these amazing corporations.
