ABOUT TINAMARIA C.

Hello and ciao! I’m Tinamaria, a university lecturer and IT-EN translator based in Modena, Italy. After obtaining an M.B.A + a Master of Arts in Mass Communications and working in non-profit communications, I moved from my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA to Modena ten years ago. Since then, I’ve been working in the education industry with roles that put me in the classroom as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, leading a teaching team as a Director of Studies for over 400 students, and conducting seminars for over 100 university students.These days, I’m combining my background in communications and educational experience to support organizations and schools across the globe. As an Independent Contractor, I get to work on a wide variety of cool projects, including:​ Teaching university-level courses both in-person and remotely across various disciplines, ranging from Economics to Medicine​ Providing translation support to companies by translating entire websites, subtitles for documentary films, magazine articles, and product descriptions from Italian to English ​ Designing ESL, ELA, and Reading curricula from the analysis to implementation stages for schools and education companies while leading them through transitions from in-person learning to remote instruction​ Creating engaging materials ranging from lesson content, assessments, and test-prep videos that have garnered over views.(PS: I’ve helped students master the following exams: Cambridge, IELTS, PTE, OET, TOEFL, TOEIC, NLN-PAX, HESI-A2, TEAS, Wonderlic) Interested in working together?
