Nichole\'s Neighbors, a 501(c)(3)non-profit charity was founded in 2020.Our mission is all about helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/D) achieve success in the community, by providing (wheelchair) accessible and affordable housing. Due to first-hand experience, I discovered that safe and affordable housing is difficult to obtain for these individuals.Our goal is to renovate or build two homes per year in the Kansas City metro area. Each home designed or renovated will be accessible and remain affordable to renters. No other organization in the Kansas City, Mo metro area is addressing the need for affordable and accessible rental housing for Missouri citizens with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities.Through our strong partnerships and community support, we will touch the lives of many deserving individuals!
