ABOUT TINA

I’ve always believed that understanding markets, industries, and people requires more than just knowing the numbers. It requires understanding the big picture, anticipating change, and making decisions that stand the test of time. My career has been shaped by a combination of structured finance, real-world business experience, and an instinct for navigating complexity. I started studying economics at Kyiv University and later pursued an MBA at Chicago Booth, balancing my studies with real-world experience at Castle Fund, where I deepened my understanding of investment strategy and risk management. But before that, I dabbled in entrepreneurship—starting NovaTrade Ukraine in 2010 with a group of ambitious partners. We saw an opportunity, built a business, and despite early success, market volatility ultimately led to its demise. That experience taught me more about resilience and strategy than any textbook could. I’ve been working in family offices since 2007, first as a strategy associate, then as a strategy manager, and finally as interim head of the US family office in 2021. Today, as a family office principal, I oversee a multi-generational portfolio spanning AI, healthcare and biotech, sustainability and emerging technologies – areas that are actively shaping the future. What excites me is not just managing wealth, but directing it towards innovation and impact. Whether evaluating the potential of an AI-driven healthcare startup or aligning investments with long-term sustainability goals, I focus on the intersection of technology, strategy and legacy building. In essence, I thrive in an environment where I can combine deep analytical thinking with real-world execution – adapting to change, mitigating risk and positioning for long-term success. My job has always been to ask the right questions, look beyond trends and make decisions that matter.
