ABOUT GE QIN TINA

I graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and now I am a student attending University of California Los Angeles with a focus in Accounting and Finance through January 2020. I am a CPA candidate, but I also understand the importance of technology for businesses as I am proficient in SAP, Access and Python. My interest in analyzing financial data with Advanced EXCEL and utilizing SQL to analyze networking data, has fueled my desire to begin a career in accounting. From my previous online shop-hosting and website-making work experience, I welcomed the challenges of working among many of best accountants in a rapidly changing environment. I also understand the need to prepare reports, commentaries and financial statements. While working at Function Capital, I read clients’ financial reports, calculated their burn rates and wrote reports about their expenditures. I determined their cash flow to support their operations. These abilities allowed me to fully understand the needs of clients and, therefore, bring more clients’ business to our company. Finally, I understand the need to collate, check and analyze spreadsheet data. When I interned in the City Hall of Los Angeles, I helped to collate budgets for 101 neighborhood councils in Los Angeles, each having budget annually.
