About Tina Meetran
I am a dedicated nonprofit leader, fundraiser, and strategist with a passion for driving mission-driven organizations toward growth, sustainability, and impact. I have over 10 years of experience, specializing in strategic fundraising, grant management, donor stewardship, leadership development and community partnerships. My work has focused on advancing equity and creating opportunities for underserved communities, ensuring that resources and support reach those who need them most. Beyond my nonprofit leadership, I am also a children’s book author, artist, and advocate for cultural representation in storytelling. As a Laotian-American daughter of immigrants, I believe deeply in the power of books to help children feel seen, heard, and valued. My book series, Little Nana Cooks, introduces kids to Southeast Asian culture through the universal language of food—celebrating the traditions, flavors, and stories that bring communities together. Whether I’m consulting with nonprofits to increase their impact, hosting book readings and author events, or developing new stories that inspire young readers, my goal remains the same: to build meaningful connections, amplify diverse voices, and create a lasting impact.
