ABOUT TINA JEAN SIMMONDS

Currently gaining a wider range of knowledge within my role of pharmacy technician, gaining my registration and further development with the help of the CPPE primary care pathway education. With continuing my professional development and continuing to provide the 9 GPHC standards.I have encountered excellent knowledge in clerical work in 3 different sites at Mexborough Montagu Hospital and Doncaster Royal Infirmary which gives me the opportunity to gain experience working in two different environments; one being a Simulation Centre where medical and clinical professionals attend courses to act of simulated activities to prepare them for real-life situations; and the other being a busy office environment taking bookings and recording training for over 6,500 members of staff. From this I have gained NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration Qualification. Which led me going onto work at Kingthorne GP widening my knowledge with an alternative side being patients, at the practice we have over and gaining more patients everyday - for instance booking referrals, prescription requests, reports, pathology results and many more. Also meaning you create a bond with patients getting to know them and what they’ve been through! Just makes the job much more fulfilling. I can navigate my way around a keyboard quickly, which helps when taking minutes or imputing information. I am customer focused, determined and I am confident I can bring this level of success with me and help build upon the organisation.I have a great knowledge in using Bookwise booking system and up to date knowledge in using the Oracle Learning Management system, system one, accuRx and reporting. I have an excellent knowledge when using the Microsoft systems such as MS Office, Word, Excel etc. as I use this software on a daily basis.Qualifications and over 9 D - A* GCSE grades including My Maths and English, science & I.T, I also have 3 A-levels undertaken at ranging from C – B.I work astoundingly in a group and in teams, bringing as working independently being able to prioritise workloads effectively, whilst being Self-motivated, calm under pressure and working through a workload in agreed timescales. I have outstanding Communication skills from working in a busy office environment consisting of high depth conversations face to face, phone calls, emails giving complex information to customers’ requests.
