ABOUT TINA DARABNOUSH-TEHRANI
As a graduate of the MS in Epidemiology program at the University at Buffalo, I have developed a strong foundation in epidemiologic methods and applications, with a focus on cancer epidemiology research and epigenetics. I have acquired skills in survival analysis, statistical data analysis, and public health, which I have applied in various projects and publications.During my studies, I also gained valuable teaching and research experience as a teaching assistant for three undergraduate courses in public health and epidemiology. I assisted the instructors with course design, grading, and tutoring, and received positive feedback from both students and faculty. Additionally, I was part of the winning team in the OGHI and Blackstone LaunchPad\'s Innovation Sprint, where we proposed a solution to prevent and counteract the spread of misinformation about measles. This was an incredible opportunity to showcase my creativity, teamwork, and communication skills.I am passionate about improving public health and advancing the knowledge of cancer epidemiology and epigenetics. I am eager to continue exploring this area and to contribute to the ongoing efforts to prevent and control disease. I am looking for a position that will allow me to apply my skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.
