The philanthropic programs of the Assistance League of Las Vegas are funded through several fundraising efforts. All monies donated to the chapter’s fundraising activities are used for its philanthropic expenses. Money to finance the non-philanthropic expenses incurred for member activities is derived from dues and members-only functions. Assistance League of Las Vegas is an all-volunteer organization, with minimal administrative costs. All the revenue from our Thrift Shop goes directly to someone in the Las Vegas community who needs and deserves it.20 hours a week- Assisting with Operation School Bell: purchasing merchandise and managing inventory- Assisting with the Thrift Shop: setting up displays, cash register, guest shopping experience, customer service- Committee Board Member: assist with budget meetings and event planning- Assist with the planning, organizing and coordination of all member donor parties.
