With more than 30 years of experience developing and implementing global tax strategies and unique tax planning arrangements, I work with multinational companies to help manage complex tax, business, and accounting issues. Regularly leading client and PwC professionals, my primary responsibilities are to drive the tax market strategy and client service delivery within the Lake Erie market, including Cleveland, Pittsburgh and western New York. I relocated to the Cleveland office after leading the Raleigh, North Carolina tax practice for five years where I focused on complex tax engagements at large, publicly-traded companies.Prior to my role in Raleigh, I led PwC’s National IRS Service Team (tax controversy) and IRS Managing Accounts practices assisting clients with the negotiation, resolution and strategic forward planning related to significant Internal Revenue Service controversies for 13 years. As an international tax Partner and the Global Tax Partner for PwC Consulting, I was responsible for structuring the global organization, building the tax infrastructure for the newly-formed company, running the worldwide tax affairs of PwC Consulting, and advising on the initial public offering and ultimate divestiture. Authoring articles for national publications such as The Tax Adviser, The Journal of International Taxation, BNA Tax Daily, and The Journal of International Human Resources, I am also a contributing author for U.S. Taxation of Foreign Corporations and Their Affiliates published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont.
