ABOUT TIM TARBY-DONALD

My role as Partnerships Manager at The Shakespeare Hospice brings together a range of activities I have done over the last 30 years- 22 years in Operational Purchasing, Strategic Procurement, Lean Six Sigma Project Management and Global Purchasing where the strong relationships I established and developed with supply chain partners, strategic sub contractors and internal stakeholders were fundamental in the mutually beneficial results achieved- A strong interest in Corporate Social Responsibility / Ethical Business / Citizenship / Business for Good inspired by Xerox\'s huge focus and long-standing pedigree in this area with superstar CEO Anne Mulcahy saying \"Good Citizenship in my view is, quite simply, good business\"- A hard earned understanding of funding and fundraising as the CEO of Banbury Young Homelessness Project where I was also privileged to have close and supportive relationships with a range of businesses and funding partners as well as a number of individuals providing substantial support and financial donations, including some wonderful Patrons- A deep and growing understanding of the importance of charities in our society and of the opportunities from charitable organisations working closely with purpose-driven commercial organisations and kind individual philanthropists, who together could change the world!
